Beth Pritchard Bsc(hons) MSc BVMedSci(hons) BVM BVS MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon

I am a Veterinary Surgeon at Boston Spa and Garforth. I first studied Zoology at Durham University during which I also spent time working on a game reserve in South Africa. Following this, I attended Liverpool University and achieved a masters degree in Animal Reproduction before attending Nottingham University from where I qualified as a vet in July 2012.

I joined Westwood in January 2011 and very much enjoy meeting a wide variety of people and animals. I have a particular interest in medicine and have started working towards a post graduate certificate in small animal medicine.  I have two small boys at home, Rufus and Jasper who take up a lot of my spare time, we also have a black Labrador called Tilly, a rescue cat (Oreo), 2 guinea pigs (Porridge and crumpet), and 3 horses.    Outside veterinary life, I head for the great outdoors where I enjoy skiing, walking, competing on my horses and mountain biking especially in the Alps. I also enjoy triathlon and have completed a half ironman triathlon this year.
